What ten creator tools actually cost at your account count
Enter how many accounts you run. Per-channel and per-seat tools reprice; flat-rate ones do not. Everything below is derived from published pricing, with ranges marked as floors.
Most of these tools price in USD. The rate above is an assumption you can edit — it is not a live quote, and every figure below moves with it.
| Tool | Monthly | Yearly | Model | Scales with accounts |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Buffer | Free | Free | Per channel | Yes |
| TikTok Studio | Free | Free | Free | No |
| ShowsFarm Partner | £11 | £99 * | Flat rate | No |
| Canva + scheduler | £17 + | £198 ↑ | Two subscriptions | No |
| Metricool | £17 + | £208 ↑ | Per brand | No |
| Later | £20 + | £236 ↑ | Tiered | No |
| Genviral | £23 + | £274 ↑ | Tiered | No |
| Predis.ai | £25 + | £302 ↑ | Tiered | No |
| Hootsuite | £234 | £2,806 ↑ | Per seat | Yes |
| Sprout Social | £470 | £5,641 ↑ | Per seat | Yes |
- + entry tier — the vendor publishes a range or does not document higher usage, so treat the figure as a floor rather than a quote.
- * the vendor's published annual plan price.
- ↑ twelve times the monthly price. We have not recorded an annual plan for this tool, which is not the same as it having none — most vendors discount annual billing, so these yearly figures are upper bounds. Only ShowsFarm's annual price is documented in our knowledge base, so the yearly column flatters it. Compare on the monthly column instead.

The headline price is the trap
Per-channel and per-seat models look cheap at one account and punishing at five. The calculator shows the curve, not the entry tier.
Currencies are not hidden
Most of these tools bill in USD. We convert at a rate you set yourself rather than burying a stale one in the maths.
Floors, not quotes
Where a vendor publishes a range or leaves higher tiers undocumented, the figure is marked as a floor. We do not invent the rest of the pricing page.
Reading it properly
-
Set your account count
Not your current count — the one you expect in a year. Per-channel pricing is chosen at one account and regretted at six.
-
Check the model column
Two tools at the same monthly figure behave differently as you grow. Flat and per-seat diverge fast.
-
Treat marked figures as floors
A plus sign means the vendor publishes a range or hides higher tiers. Verify on their pricing page before committing.
Frequently asked questions
Why can I edit the exchange rate?
Because we cannot fetch a live one on a static page, and a hardcoded rate quietly misprices every USD tool as it drifts. Showing you the assumption and letting you correct it is more honest than presenting a stale number as fact.
What does the plus sign next to a price mean?
That the figure is a floor. Some vendors publish a range — Canva plus a scheduler runs roughly $21 to $40 depending on which scheduler — and some do not document what happens above the entry tier. We show the bottom of what is published and flag it rather than guessing the rest.
Are these prices current?
They were accurate as of the review date shown, and creator tools re-tier often. Treat the calculator as a way to compare pricing shapes rather than a live quote, and check the vendor's own page before you commit.
Why does ShowsFarm come out cheap at high account counts?
Because it is flat-rate and most competitors are not — that is the mechanism, not a favour. At one account it is beaten by Buffer's free tier and by TikTok Studio, which is free outright. The calculator shows both ends.
Why is only one annual price shown?
Because ShowsFarm's annual plan (£99/year against £11/month) is the only one recorded in our knowledge base. Every other yearly figure is twelve times the monthly price, marked with an arrow to say so. Most vendors discount annual billing, so those figures are upper bounds and the yearly column currently flatters the tool that funds this site — which is why we say to compare on the monthly column.
ShowsFarm funds this site and appears in the table above on the same terms as everything else — flat rate, which is why it flattens out on the right of the curve and loses on the left. See ShowsFarm pricing →
