How each creator tool's pricing model behaves as you add accounts — flat, tiered, per-channel, per-seat — and the published figures every projection is derived from.

The 7 models in use

Flat rate
One price regardless of how many accounts you connect. Worst value at a single account, best value as you scale, and the only model where growth does not change the bill.
Per channel
Charged per connected channel. Cheap to start and the steepest curve here — a creator running six accounts pays six times the headline rate.
Two subscriptions
Two subscriptions that only work together — a design tool plus a scheduler. The combined cost is the real price, and it moves whenever either vendor reprices.
Tiered
A published entry price with higher tiers above it. The entry figure is what gets advertised; what triggers the jump to the next tier is often not documented until you hit it.
Per seat
Charged per human user. Irrelevant to a solo operator running many accounts, which is why enterprise tools look mispriced for this audience rather than merely expensive.
Per brand
Charged per brand or workspace rather than per channel, so several channels under one brand share a fee. Where the rate goes beyond the first brand is frequently undocumented.
Free
No charge at any account count. The constraint is usually functional rather than financial — check what the tool refuses to do before treating it as the cheap option.
